Page of Cups
I think the Page of Cups in my Deck of Denver would be my friend Jay. He is more sensitive and open than most people you meet- both psychically and emotionally. He's a perfect specimen of the emotional side of men that is so seriously misunderstood. However, he falls just short of Knighthood. His heart leads him not to the glory of Sangreal, but only as far as human realization. He is not able to see the scope of the knight who fights for a king and for a God, the page is a boy of the court who can only concern himself with his own satisfacitons, a wife and a social place. Jay can see and understand how I react to hauntings, but is unable to feel the energy himself. He has a great understanding of and appreciation for the tarot but insists that he is unable to learn; at first I wanted very much to teach him but for now I see he would not be able to use them.
Knight of Cups
The knight of cups is undoubtedly Sir Percivale. Sensitive and pure of heart, he is ruled by water and compelled by his emotions.
