In the Brady Tarot, the title of this card is Anguish. Past traumas come to haunt. Rather than deny ourselves our pain, we must use it as a tool to climb out of our suffering. None of the swords here have pierced their target- it is not yet your time to die, rather this is a point in life where hope is far away and it seems danger is around every corner. You may be mourning and wounded but you are still whole and unharmed- no one can damage your soul. The immediate threat is over, but do not ignore environmental factors that could prolong your suffering.
